Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

OnlinClipboard provides temporary text, image, and file sharing. This policy explains what data is processed by the core clipboard and by optional account, support, payment, analytics, and advertising features.

2. Information We Process

  • Clipboard content: Text, images, files, file metadata, passcodes, share identifiers, creation times, and expiry times required to provide a share.
  • Technical and abuse-prevention data: IP addresses, request timestamps, browser information, security events, and hashed or normalized rate-limit identifiers.
  • Reviews and feedback: Ratings, optional comments, contact details supplied through Feedback, moderation status, and a hashed IP identifier.
  • Optional accounts: Email address, profile information, authentication credentials, sessions, teams, and account preferences when account features are enabled and used.
  • Payments: Order, subscription, credit, and Stripe customer or PaymentIntent references. Full payment-card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by us.

The core clipboard can be used without an account. This does not mean that every optional part of the website is account-free or collects no personal information.

3. How Information Is Used

  • Provide, retrieve, expire, and delete temporary shares.
  • Operate optional accounts, payments, support, feedback, and review moderation.
  • Detect abuse, enforce rate limits, investigate failures, and protect the service.
  • Measure public-page usage and fund eligible public pages with advertising.

4. Storage and Retention

  • Clipboard metadata is stored in Cloudflare D1; uploaded images and files are stored in Cloudflare R2.
  • Shares expire after 24 hours and are designed for one successful retrieval. File cleanup can complete as part of the download or scheduled cleanup process.
  • Reviews remain stored while published or awaiting moderation. Rejected reviews may be retained for moderation and abuse-prevention records until deleted by an administrator.
  • Account, transaction, support, and security records are retained as needed to operate the requested feature, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse.
  • Operational logs and cached aggregates may have separate, limited retention periods controlled by Cloudflare and our service configuration.

No internet service can promise absolute security or instantaneous deletion from every transient cache. We use HTTPS, access controls, time limits, and restricted storage bindings to reduce risk.

5. Analytics, Advertising, and Consent

Eligible public pages use Google Analytics and Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses, web beacons, and other identifiers to measure usage, prevent fraud, select ads, and report performance.

Where required, Google's certified Consent Management Platform displays privacy choices and communicates them through the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework and Google Consent Mode. You can reopen those choices using “Privacy and cookie settings” in the footer.

Direct private share links containing an s parameter do not initialize Google Analytics or AdSense. The public Create and Retrieve tool may load Google Auto Ads; because results are displayed within the same browser document, previously loaded Auto Ads may remain visible after a create or passcode-retrieval action.

6. Service Providers

  • Cloudflare: CDN, Workers runtime, Turnstile, D1, R2, KV, security, and operational infrastructure.
  • Google: Analytics, AdSense, consent management, and optional Google authentication.
  • Stripe: Optional payment processing, subscriptions, billing portal, and payment fraud prevention.
  • Email providers: Delivery of account, support, and transactional messages when those features are used.

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not sell clipboard content.

7. Your Choices and Rights

  • Use the core clipboard without registering an account.
  • Decline or adjust optional advertising and analytics consent where the consent interface is available.
  • Request access, correction, or deletion of identifiable account, support, payment, or review data where applicable.
  • Stop using the service and avoid submitting content or optional personal information.

8. Children and International Processing

The service is not directed to children under 13. Data may be processed in countries where Cloudflare, Google, Stripe, and other providers operate, subject to their transfer safeguards and applicable law.
